Best comeback in recent memory!I remember reading in a 1975 CREEM magazine that RCA had signed the Dolls,who by that point WERE just David,Syl + friends.Had an LP by this lineup been released back then,I'd have bought one.32 years later,this new CD is likely much better than the one they didn't make!!KUDOS DUDES!

The title is anything but false humility; it's a line from classic Greek literature and a subtle tip of the cap to Arthur Kane. So get past the title and dig the music!

Nobody asked for this but here it is. If you can forgive Johansen for Buster Poindexter have at it, it's as good as any of their other records. 2006 is probably not the best time to remind folks that your band is pretty much responsible for The Strokes.

The New York Dolls "were" Jonny Thunder and even then they weren't that good but I saw them live at the Wiskey a GoGo in West Hollywood back in the 70's and then they had a line 3 blocks long to see them. Johansen now looks older than Keith Richards...I never thought that could be possible!!
